Often something great insists on taking it’s time. Negotiating change and the great dream of crossing the next threshold ask the questions; What am I leaving? and, What comes next?
Mike Edel now knows what is next. His indie-rock singer-songwriter lean isn’t tired or sad, it packs a punch and some synth’s while his songs will probably hit your soul even harder than before.
After touring extensively in the US and Canada, playing shows with Serena Ryder, Said The Whale and Foy Vance, Edel spent over a year writing and recording in the studio and has emerged with his finest works to date. Edel has teamed up with producer Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie, Tegan and Sara, Gord Downie) for his latest album, set to be released in 2018.
Edel’s newest single ‘Finish Line’ and accompanying video are proof that he has been working tirelessly behind the scenes for some time and his listeners have much to be excited for. His music has been in rotation on CBC Radio 2, AAA Radio across the US, Sirius XM The Loft and also has amassed over 1.28M plays on Spotify. Edel is an avid walker, hockey fan, producer and he’ll probably be your friend.
